Jessica Hastings Verrill, BS, Shamanic Practitioner, LMT, owner

Jessica graduated from the former Polarity Realization Institute (now Spa Tech), November 3, 2004.  Before taking the plunge of setting up her own practice, she had the opportunity to work and train with some very talented professionals in health care.  Working with chiropractors, homeopaths and other massage therapists enabled Jessica to learn advanced techniques in injury treatment and rehabilitation, while her management work at a local spa enables her to confidently take on business ownership.

In her career, Jessica became trained as a Chiropractic Assistant, learning evaluation techniques including postural analysis and utilization of hydrotherapy.  She has also obtained her Level 3 Reiki Certification, training in Polarity Therapy in conjunction with her massage training, CranioSacral Therapy from the Upledger Institute, Emotional Freedom Technique and Myofascial Release among others.  She completed an apprenticeship in Shamanic Healing with Dory Cote of The Center for Earthlight Healing in December of 2011, as well as a two year Advanced Initiation training, also with Dory.

Jessica completed her Bachelor’s of Science degree May of 2013, majoring in Health Sciences, minoring  in Holistic & Integrative Health, from the University of Southern Maine.   Her treatments include all of the modalities she has been trained in, depending on what is most appropriate for overall health and immediate needs, at each given appointment.  Distance shamanic sessions are now available.

When not working, Jessica enjoys raising her daughter and her first job as a mother.  Jess enjoys almost any outdoor activities including hiking, riding her motorcycle or boating and is passionate about health and wellness as well as animal rights and rescue.  She lives with her husband, toddler and dog in Gorham.
